It is aimed at Year 9, but could be used for any non-GCSE KS3 / KS4 group or be adapted for a GCSE lesson. 1 hour, fully resourced RE lesson all about Protestantism and its denominations. The lesson investigates what Protestantism is and how it has split over hundreds of years into many denominations. Students conduct a detailed investigation into four denominations - Lutheranism, Anglicanism, Methodists and Baptists. They then compare and contrast these before completing a mini essay at the end. This is great practice for GCSE RE skills and is perfect as a KS3 Christianity lesson or KS4 non-GCSE lesson.
